- How do you ship?
Our International Moving service includes
- Airfreight service: for those customers who want a quick transit and want to ship a small volume or weight. International Moving, Airfreight service is generally cost-effective for small shipment and for urgently required items at destination. Airfreight shipments are placed in air cartons for safe handling and shipping as single units rather than individual boxes. Our experience has taught us that it is not recommended to ship individual boxes of personal effects keeping in mind the relatively rough handling of individual boxes when using airfreight service.
- Sea freight full container: This is a cost-effective way to ship if you plan to move a full house. The full container option is the fastest sea freight shipping method for International Personal effects shipments. The packages and boxes are shipped in a sole use container and the contents are very limited to individual handling except while loading and unloading by our industry trainer and experienced International Moving crew. We load containers at your residence in Canada and shipped them directly to your destination, please contact our Team of International Move consultant to find out more.
- Sea Freight – less than container Load: This is shipping method is a good option to consider for your International Move if you plan to ship some furniture and you do not have enough volume for a container load. This option takes longer in transit but cheaper than airfreight when you have a larger volume. This International Move, Shipping option is generally very cost effective if the volume is more than 200 kgs but less than 1500 kgs depending on the destination. With this shipping option, the boxes are packed in large wooden crates known as lift vans.
- Sea Freight Groupage – This is the most effective option for International Move in terms of cost. The flip side being larger transit window. This option is subject to a larger window of delivery with is between the shortest to the longest in transit. If you plan to arrive destination with no delays and are willing to wait for a while if needed there is no better way to address your International Moving needs than taking a groupage container option. With this International Moving service, you will be sharing the container with others moving / personal effects shipment to the same destination/country/region. The larger window of delivery is the result of waiting for consolidation.
